The JBL tower-type side-melting and holding furnace is a high-quality furnace designed for supplying molten aluminum. When operating in continuous melting mode, it maintains a stable molten aluminum temperature with minimal fluctuations—typically within a range of ±5°C. A partition wall is installed between the tapping chamber and the holding chamber, effectively isolating any floating slag generated during melting. This ensures that the quality of the molten aluminum in the tapping chamber remains consistently high, thereby enhancing the overall product quality. This furnace is widely used for supplying molten aluminum to single-machine aluminum alloy casting lines of multiple grades, as well as for automotive parts die casting and as a complementary unit for large-scale die casting machines.

This furnace is designed as a specialized electrically heated aluminum alloy melting device with an aluminum-alloy frame. It features a pool-type structure cast using imported non-stick aluminum casting material, eliminating the need for a crucible. It boasts advantages such as long service life, strong heating capability, low surface temperature, low energy consumption, and ease of operation.
This furnace is designed with a user-centric approach, focusing on practical operational use. Its internal structure features an imported castable lining, an anti-permeation layer, imported nano-microporous panels, and ceramic fiber boards as thermal insulation materials. The design aims to meet customers’ stringent requirements for aluminum melt temperature while maintaining the lowest possible holding temperature, thereby ensuring the furnace’s long service life, effectively reducing heat loss from the furnace surface, and minimizing oxidation of the aluminum surface. This high-performance electrically heated furnace, specially designed for aluminum alloys, represents an extreme pursuit of energy efficiency and conservation, placing it at an internationally advanced level.Furnace Structure Description
Main body shell component- The outer shell and baseplate are fabricated by welding together 8mm A3 steel plates, and the underframe is assembled using nationally standardized channel steel. With the exception of the internal insulation layer and working layer, the structure is essentially made of welded metal components.
- The base features four adjustable threaded posts that can be raised or lowered by turning the nuts to achieve the desired height (customizable according to customer requirements).
Furnace lining structure
The furnace lining, from outside to inside, consists of the following layers in sequence: an outer shell made of iron plates, a thermal shield coating, calcium silicate boards, a ceramic fiber board combined with a nano-microporous board, a waterproof and anti-aluminum melt penetration layer, and a cast-in-place layer. The cast-in-place layer is made of imported non-stick aluminum casting material. For thermal insulation, the materials are arranged in a specific order based on thorough thermal conductivity calculations, ensuring that the surface temperature of the insulated furnace remains below 30°C above room temperature. This improves the high-temperature working environment in the workshop, further reduces energy consumption, and enhances product competitiveness.
